Just sent this Email to THE SUN, that gigantic tabloid based in England. Trying to speed the plough, so to speak. Forgive a few typos, and some of the structure, I flew though doing this before sending it off. PLUS MY BRAND NEW EXCLUSIVE for you, posted in this entry just below the email copy, another new song I just wrote, but this one directly inspired by my character Sky Kidd Anderson and superhero Sunman, a song called: Today, I Will Live !... .
Hi, The Sun.
Curiously enough, we do share something alike, namely our connection to the icon of the : SUN.
I understand that you pay top dollar for exclusive stories especially those in the entertainment field.
I've been trying awhile to get my original new superhero SUNMAN (TM) based movie projects realized. My current personal situation is such that it makes it difficult for me to accomplish this. And I am currently in need of some financial resources in order to help enable myself to tackle this task. And some publicity and spotlight wouldn't hurt either... .
This could be a human interest story, a kind of steadfast Rocky like story on the angle of a starving artist type of scenario -no I am not living out on the streets, but instead living with my elderly 88 year old parent ( taking care of her ) with scarse available household keeping income. I'm also living currently a far piece away from Hollywood ( namely Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada ) though my Sunman (tm) figure is based in California - that's his home "base" and his normal realm / location / loci of action, and that's where too I need to get based in order to conduct and shoot the Sunman (tm) feature motion picture productions.
So I am otherwise oppressed by the lack of resources needed for myself to acheive my goals of a wide release feature motion pictures featuring my superhero figure SUNMAN ( my registered TM, Canada and the U.S. ). For one, I don't want to relinquish control over my superhero figure to a major studio concern in that I want to be able to ensure the ongoing intigrity of this figure, and this franchise, one of my primary objectives. None of those horrendous Batman later sequels, thank you !
Plus my superhero Sunman (tm) figure is to stand up for certain themes, traits, and oppose institutional injustices or areas of possible current and future societal concern ( although he is by no means a perfect figure, he has his own inner qualms and foiable characteristics, human weaknesses ), that a major Hollywood studio would likely sully in some way or other.
And yes, as you'll likely want to know, there will be extremely " hot babes", and occassional handsome dashing "dudes" character roles to be featured in the world of superhero Sunman amid the storylines.
Or, you might want to have access to SUNMAN based project exclusives as they develop. Think of what it'll be worth to have an ongoing innermost bead in on the Spiderman, or Superman, or Batman franchises, and in this case SUNMAN, a figure for whom I'm aiming to achieve a similar success plateau. Now I wouldn't be wanting to reveal details on the actual storylines of the debut Sunman feature film project itself (wanting to keep the debut of SUNMAN a fresh surprise to be revealed at the time of the release of the debut feature motion picture), except maybe some points about the figure deemed to be suitable to be released, but instead could provide exclusives about things like who might be tapped to star in this production ( I've in mind right now one major star for a supporting role ), interview ops with them, how things are proceeding, maybe some tidbit candid shots of this and that. And things like exclusive alerts as to what mega singing star or group is being tapped to do a Sunman theme song. Whatever like that.
My goal is to establish my company Superhero Sunman (tm) Entertainment Enterprises ( SSEE) further with enough resources as needed to enable it to cobble together the needed key production related elements, collaborations, star attachments, and human resources as required to mount the Sunman (tm) debut, feature motion picture, wide release, projects ( inc. the origins story currently based on my screenplay SUNMAN - BORN OF FIRE AND SKY - this being of course subject to ongong changes and revisions - and the first Sunman prequel storyline movie for which I've an outline on which to base this project upon ) to enable them to be realized including, again, the collaboration of production partners.
Indeed, it may well be possible to get the debut Sunman (tm) movie shot and "in the can" in time for a Christmas Holiday season roundabouts 2009 release date... .
Please do include in communications some idea as to what you might consider by way of financial embursement for these type of exclusives, so I will know whether it'll be worth my while in working with you on these matters, or alternatively with some other exclusive arrangement elsewhere.
