Have id to shoot openning SUNMAN debut movie scene so backers will see... this Sunman's gonna be a big mega hit, dawgs !!

Hi all. While watching the first MATRIX last night, the movie hosts were mentioning factoids about it. One caught my ear, the brothers Wachowski ( Larry and Andy ) actually shot the first four minutes of it first, on it's own ( with Carrie Ann Moss ), and used that sliver of the Matrix to show to their producers, so as to get their entire Matrix movie realized. And look what resulted there - a mega movie franchise.

So I was thinking, hey I could do that, shoot a representation of the openning scene, the first few minutes from my Sunman feature motion picture, intended WIDE RELEASE, debut screenplay. While it's not gonna have a big shoot em up ole fight scene like the openning of the Matrix, it'll show some of the atmospheric and stylish envelopment leading into the movie's plot (..could throw in a quick teaser flash ahead to the driving essense of the plot too..), and the charismatic nature of Sky, and the engaging interplay of the few, actually 5 in all characters, as represented in the openning scene. This I could show to potential investors. It wouldn't give away the entire movie, to the public, that is, as things do tend to leak out, eh, yet, it'll give a compelling flavor as to who these characters are, and why the public will dig 'em !!

While the W bros had 1 million to lay down for their 4 minute slice of Matrix, I could do a representative ( not having the actors as to be actually chosen for the roles, just stand-ins... ) few minutes slice of the debut Sunman movie for near next to nothing, relatively speaking, indeed, even be able to do several different takes of it, standpoint wise, what with alternative framing choices, and this or that tweaking around. Since, what's involved in this openning scene is fairly down to Earth basic stuff, and it's mainly here about the characters, the acting, interplay and the stylistic atmospherics, energy - an emotional setting up of the milieu for what will happen later. Even could first start out with only the most basic of all representative takes with a simple table read, or acted read, of this openning segment, with perhaps some backdrop narrative, or text-over, to evoke the otherwise unseen setting.

Could even remotely have the scenes shot on near identical locations as to be used in the movie, by getting this openning scene shot in Californa ( where right now I'm not.. ) using a guest director...., him/she and I corresponding back and forth, exchanging clips etc. .

So I could pass along this scene to this stand-in director, tell him/her what setting backdrop is needed, have him/her scout out representative actor fill-ins, discuss framing, atmospherics wanted, character points, looks, yada yada. And then get that scene shot right there in the near actual environment of the movie that's to go to the cinemas later. Maybe could collab with say someone like say a Jason Reitman to get this done.

Mmm, thinking on this idea further.. there is a brothers Wachowski kind of wrinkle, my first superhero SUNMAN PREQUEL movie project which is mostly now an outline of key plotpoints, and of journey destinations and plot events to be encompassed, does though have some of the openning scenes written for it by moi. And in the openning scene for this there is some nifty spectacular action to it.., that kind of Wach factor you might say, a-happening... .

So maybe I could also take a crack at filmming the openning scenes here... , but comparatively, this footage is gonna cost much more. Then again, there's always the barebones approach, table read and acted run-throughs, only, that could be shot in lieu of computer wizardry cgi help, and the expensive working "props", and the big, location scene, with lots of folk, things, disruptions, involved.., found in the openning scene in the PQ ( this first PQ, among the several I've planned, which takes place at a pivotol prior time in Sky's life than the actual debut Sunman origin movie, helping shape and prepare the destiny of Sky to later become the Sunman... ) .

..next time have to do a rocker..

--------- a next day (May 14th) thought ------, it might be greeaaaat ( as Tony the Tiger might say.. ) if this song can be totally turned on it's head and instead of being Neil Diamond ish instead be a real all out rocker, given that treatment, by a band say like 3 Doors Down - I'm hearing inside my head right now a crazy greeaat version of this that a band like that could do... .

- I'm not sure how closely or not, some of these lines, mainly parts of the chorus may resemble other songs, if so, then I'll likely change those parts as much as I can - also just generally likely be working more on this to get it all shaped up nicely. )

Just sent this Email to THE SUN, that gigantic tabloid based in England. Trying to speed the plough, so to speak. Forgive a few typos, and some of the structure, I flew though doing this before sending it off. PLUS MY BRAND NEW EXCLUSIVE for you, posted in this entry just below the email copy, another new song I just wrote, but this one directly inspired by my character Sky Kidd Anderson and superhero Sunman, a song called: Today, I Will Live !... .

Hi, The Sun.

Curiously enough, we do share something alike, namely our connection to the icon of the : SUN.

I understand that you pay top dollar for exclusive stories especially those in the entertainment field.

I've been trying awhile to get my original new superhero SUNMAN (TM) based movie projects realized. My current personal situation is such that it makes it difficult for me to accomplish this. And I am currently in need of some financial resources in order to help enable myself to tackle this task. And some publicity and spotlight wouldn't hurt either... .

This could be a human interest story, a kind of steadfast Rocky like story on the angle of a starving artist type of scenario -no I am not living out on the streets, but instead living with my elderly 88 year old parent ( taking care of her ) with scarse available household keeping income. I'm also living currently a far piece away from Hollywood ( namely Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada ) though my Sunman (tm) figure is based in California - that's his home "base" and his normal realm / location / loci of action, and that's where too I need to get based in order to conduct and shoot the Sunman (tm) feature motion picture productions.

So I am otherwise oppressed by the lack of resources needed for myself to acheive my goals of a wide release feature motion pictures featuring my superhero figure SUNMAN ( my registered TM, Canada and the U.S. ). For one, I don't want to relinquish control over my superhero figure to a major studio concern in that I want to be able to ensure the ongoing intigrity of this figure, and this franchise, one of my primary objectives. None of those horrendous Batman later sequels, thank you !

Plus my superhero Sunman (tm) figure is to stand up for certain themes, traits, and oppose institutional injustices or areas of possible current and future societal concern ( although he is by no means a perfect figure, he has his own inner qualms and foiable characteristics, human weaknesses ), that a major Hollywood studio would likely sully in some way or other.

And yes, as you'll likely want to know, there will be extremely " hot babes", and occassional handsome dashing "dudes" character roles to be featured in the world of superhero Sunman amid the storylines.

Or, you might want to have access to SUNMAN based project exclusives as they develop. Think of what it'll be worth to have an ongoing innermost bead in on the Spiderman, or Superman, or Batman franchises, and in this case SUNMAN, a figure for whom I'm aiming to achieve a similar success plateau. Now I wouldn't be wanting to reveal details on the actual storylines of the debut Sunman feature film project itself (wanting to keep the debut of SUNMAN a fresh surprise to be revealed at the time of the release of the debut feature motion picture), except maybe some points about the figure deemed to be suitable to be released, but instead could provide exclusives about things like who might be tapped to star in this production ( I've in mind right now one major star for a supporting role ), interview ops with them, how things are proceeding, maybe some tidbit candid shots of this and that. And things like exclusive alerts as to what mega singing star or group is being tapped to do a Sunman theme song. Whatever like that.

My goal is to establish my company Superhero Sunman (tm) Entertainment Enterprises ( SSEE) further with enough resources as needed to enable it to cobble together the needed key production related elements, collaborations, star attachments, and human resources as required to mount the Sunman (tm) debut, feature motion picture, wide release, projects ( inc. the origins story currently based on my screenplay SUNMAN - BORN OF FIRE AND SKY - this being of course subject to ongong changes and revisions - and the first Sunman prequel storyline movie for which I've an outline on which to base this project upon ) to enable them to be realized including, again, the collaboration of production partners.

Indeed, it may well be possible to get the debut Sunman (tm) movie shot and "in the can" in time for a Christmas Holiday season roundabouts 2009 release date... .

Re: 2009 SUNMAN (tm) debut movie release

Re a 2009 superhero SUNMAN (tm) debut movie release: I mentioned previously a summer 09 release date could be acheived (13-14, up to 15 even months to work with-in). A sanguine outlook would consider a late 09, holiday season, release a more viable goal - albeit, if so, I've in mind throwing in a unique twist to maximize this release date scenario.

superhero SUNMAN (tm) seeks production partners.. wants to rival Marvel, Warners, yada yada... .

Superhero Sunman Entertainment Enterprises ( SSEE fo short... ) wants to make a debut superhero Sunman (registered TM) movie (movies) to rival the fare from Marvel and Warners. While they have a roster of films to manage, I've currently just got two primary (related) figures presently to feature in wide release type feature films. I will have the flexibility also to create a debut Sunman movie at a far less cost than the likes of an Ironman ( 135 to 165 million - according to Downey the other day on Leno ) depending on the source, not including promotion. This also means that a decent showing for the Sunman debut needn't be a huge astronomical phenomenon.

Basically to get initially in through the door in this field would suffice. Sequels have proven to make that later biggest bang anyway. Plus a much bigger debut remake could be done subsequently. It's possible a superhero Sunman debut movie could be made with $35 million or less, a figure that's desired by distributors, with regards to movies other than the mega cost major studio productions like Ironman.

I think there's potentially still enough time to make a Sunman debut movie by the summer of 2009.

Personally I have major issues with a superhero figure such as IRONMAN judging from it's debut feature film, points of observation that I discerned at my viewing of it. You just may agree with me when I relate to you what those objections entail.

As property owner, originator, trademark holder, writer of Sunman, I can tweak the script for instance to keep down the cost factors. Even now my debut screenplay is structured such that the first two thirds of the film doesn't need to involve too much in the way of special effects. My superhero guy's not a billionaire either who needs the super fancy lab set seen in IRONMAN as for instance... .

If anyone wants to discuss getting involved with backing my superhero SUNMAN franchise feature motion picture projects, get in touch.

Even as to things that could just be associated with them such as the creation of Sunman based thematic popular ( intended as hit ) songs. I'm open to collaboration with various artists on these.

..note, after seeing today (May 6th) photo of colliding galaxies in close corners proxmity each other, and while listening to Kylie's myspace page I jotted down the following original song and lyrics. Then afterwords, when googling the line, song galaxies collide, I did note that there is one song of the title, Gallaxies Collide, but after taking a 30 sec. sample listen to that - as found here: http://music.yahoo.com/track/47219868, I found it different contextually (the other one has something to do with some shy geekish sounding guy wanting hoping to get together with a gal, as opposed to my "couple" in my song's plot, who are already the hottest couple! going...), and it's got a different sound vibe than I have in mind ( theirs is so pop innocently sweet it's almost repulsive) that along with completely different lines and words, verse structure, etc. . So I decided to keep my song as is as originately jotted down, just made sure the titles didn't "collide" by making my song called -just-Like When... .)

Over a few moments, fifteen maybe, jotted down these lyrics for a new song, this based on a kind of movie scene, movie plot basis teaser, but also having that general connection, the kind like when you see or briefly encounter someone that just totally overwhelms you, then that person leaves suddenly, and you wished you'd taken the opt to get a chance to introduce yourself, or if you'd done that, to arrange to see them again somehow, but now you're left with nothing but a feeling of regret of loss.

Just reminder, despite my recent kick along the songwriting front, I'll be posting new superhero Sunman movie project related updates here too. Been distractedly oppressed last wee while by a few factors that's hindering my superhero SUNMAN ( my TM ) work, mainly synchronizing bills ( not of any great extent, but annoying enough given current tight living circumstances ), that kind of thing.

Once SUNMAN takes off - think how big the intellectual properties such as Spiderman, Star Wars, Batman, Superman currently are, to get a sense of how big I believe, and am determined to make be, my superhero Sunman franchise and property will ascend - all this twiddling stuff annoying me now will be all that much yesterday's burnt toast.

In a day of far extremes, from watching the movie Ironman (to my own mixed review, competently done but lacking in several major ways) , just released to theatres today, to seeing a special profile on Ann Murray on TV, inclusive of her duets with Glenn Campbell, to hearing that one thing that spooks Madonna is the thunder, to seeing scenes of folks dealing with recent weather devastations, one person relating on the news: I'm ( or we're ) going to be still Okay.

Basically what did was take that line as the cornerstone, with that sort of context, and while influenced with the musical stains of Murray and Campbell resonating, and while listening to Galveston, and later Witchita Lineman, while fiddling a little bit more, I wrote the following:

A concept for taking my SUNMAN franchise superhero figure and TM into the big leagues of superheroes - by a 100 small ways.

Here's a concept that potential backers, and potential key personnal for a mutual production company entity, for my superhero Sunman feature projects and franchise superhero figure might consider towards my goal of getting the first two Sunman related feature motion pictures into a production scenario, intended for subsequent wide release, asap:

I'd like to get the cameras rolling asap on superhero Sunman based feature motion picture, wide release, projects. Towards that end, a significant input of capital could be employed, an amount that could also be utilized in such a way as to recoup itself, and perhaps generate a return over and above that amount, while also getting the Sunman movies into production by the use of the capital employed, the primary goal to be achieved.

Even as the actual print cost of a (wide release) movie is relatively insignificant re the overall P and A budget of any significantly enough sized movie, a amount of a similar hue to enable a major movie franchise to get realized in the first place could be considered in the same way. To start the consideration I'd thought I'd consider an amount that understated the seriousness of the effort, yet though relatively, in the overscope of things, could be considered not all that significant. An amount of 1 million dollars.

Utilization of (my) registered trademark for Sunman as regards some items alone should generate revenue streams sufficient to recoup an amount of this extent. If the 1 million were broken down into manageable bits, lets say 100 parts re initiatives or support items, marketing & packaging or deal forging etc. items, mini production projects, logoed wares (or design work on) to be made available to sell, etc., each kicking in at $10,000 budgeted per item, that's 100 tentacles associated to my superhero figure reaching out far and wide to heighten the profile & public demand, hopefully clamor, for my trademarked superhero franchise.

Like a Hollywood Studo with a number of projects in it's line-up mix, many that fail but some that succeed, spectacularly, this Capital for Sunman small initiatives could have the same result (with much magnitudes less the relative risk) . With all the superhero fare this Summer, there's a huge appetite for things superhero, and a need for things superhero that are NEW-ly original, current, and fresh!

Any backer wih sufficient means, who'd work closely with me, with planning & determining & realizing the most promising of the superhero Sunman initiatives, the most needed support items, and the showcasing small projects, & with the marketing, packaging, & deal forging initiatives, that will be bartered about & discussed, that's 100 steps up to the plate to hit my Sunman superhero franchise ball out of the ball park, & for getting both the origin debut movie and the 1st PQ into a production scenario.

The number of support items, relative to the overall 100 cracks at the plate would be relatively few. A few folks to assist me with a few matters, script interchange, some design and art work visualizations, culling actors for potential roles, directorial support, those sort of things.

So...think:

SUPERHERO FRANCHISE, groundwork, historical perspectives, registered trademark, copyrighted works, laid in place, engine idling, ready to race into the ranks of the major superhero pop icons !

Consider just one of the 100 initiative items that could be realized, Sunman based theme songs ( likely a number of choices could be enabled). As the intent would be to create highly captivating pop, or rock, or hiphop, whatever songs, with hit potential, the possibility of this song or even up to a few more, that one item alone, would have a considerable impact, and create a significant return.

What all the initiatives would have is a foundation on which to exist, a marketable base that can connect to a wide audience. On an iconic ( the SUN ) so familiar to relate to trademark, banner, concept, label, franchise, vibe, energy, spectacular whirl of expectations raised, on a platform of the promise of a fresh new wondrous superhero franchise.

Ocassionally during the week, I get into a song writing ( the lyrics part, though I hear also how they, the lyrics would sound, along with the music, phrasing, vibe, etc., that in my head I hear playing also - if I'd a music partner, I'd have that threshed out too.. ). This scene is a deja vu like scene akin something that happened earlier in the episode, that led up to a confrontation on the surf with his main advarsary in this episode Matt Dangerton-Speedman ( Dash ). Only this time, there's an added odd twist, his norm gal friend isn't the one at his back this time round, it's his foe's galfriend, who however is trying to snag Sky instead. And Sky's norm galfriend is meantime expecting him an hour or two later at a cafe he's supposed to meet her at, after they'd both escaped a perilous situation the same day involving Matt, just under an hour previously... .

How to make partaking of media so easy, so simple, people will hardly ever miss anything of own interest and need to know stuff, least the utmost stuff of preceived importance, and useful need.

Everything, all events (all media forms, articles, webpages on that item, etc.), treated, presented equally as file icons, as these little bitty consistant all the same looking icons ( that you can personally only pix over to suit), distinquishable from each other by their (besides curent internet site location you're at) embed titles (Whoey Doey concert Dec, 19th, Oh Stadium ), and descripts, that all you need only do to store, save, have access to later, is to click on the particular icon here and now. The media format and material pertient to each file would be stashed out on the net somewhere, and by clicking the stored away file folder you'd saved for any particular thing, the location info in that file would take you right to that material to view, watch, hear, whatever, ay your convience. No needing to wait around, having to be swamped with when, where, what, did I miss that, has this happened yet, oh I missed that already and it's too much fuss to recoup that, stuff. Everything, all events easy to acess whenever you have the time and inclination to see them, now.

The gripe ( but not the thrill! ) is gone... . I've written a thousand times on the interior wall of my brain - I will not be envious, I will not be envious.., no more ( that an obvious reference to that line in one of the Spiderman movies..., this your friendly neighbourhood extra info in the distracting brackets pop-in feature akin those of those "Lost" TV show episode recaps that I always seem to miss the half of.. ), of that single digit numero number 6 money grabbing license plate. Well, just unconsciously, all that writing, brain resetting stuff... .

Figures I get a new movie idea today ( and title to suit ) to include for the slate of other films I'd like to explore getting made re a film company entity I want to set up, not the Superhero Sunman company of mine - that's strictly to do with the superhero Sunman projects.

But anyway, time for something completely different. As follows:

Ok.. . Maybe just one more thing. All the previous discourse is really about setting up a solid structure, a team structure with surefire deadlines and expectations ( of a release date goalpost certain for instance ) , a secure enough structure of interplay and collaboration - something that's enabled by having the resources to set it up, and by having a few key, knowledgable, capable players involved with one in that structure. And the resources to search for, and pay a few folk for their qualified services, as needed upfront, as to best present the projects, to there -by help get them fueled with investment energy, which projects then proceed into preproduction and production. After which, everyone gets their investment amply rewarded.

Over $650,000 for a licence plate (I think Penn state) with the single digit number 6 ( CBS Sunday Morning April 13th, 2007 ). One of many ways great amounts of money are spent by the affluent on dubious pursuits. Okay that item might be considered, despite the relatively flimsy substance attained for it, an investment, as in that state it appears low digit license plates are currently.., a hot commodity. Meanwhile it's been proven it makes people happy to contribute to a larger cause, a collective involvement and investment in things of greater "substance...".

I freely admit I am struggling with getting the wherewithall to mount my superhero Sunman (tm) feature movie productions. Frankly, by now, I thought people would be busting down my doors to have the opportunity to be involved in these, the opportunity for gain and great fun, adventure, satisfaction, and so forth being so inherently great - come on, think about it, a superhero character, world, and icon, with the direct association, and trademarked name tie, to the SUN, that commonplace everyday, and I mean EVERYday, object, even kind of personal companion, to EVERYone on this globe of ours. Even Bats or Spiders don't have that everyday connection ( maybe spiders if you live in the tropics and might see them everyday perhaps.. ).

So perhaps I haven't been a great saleman as I've been meanwhile engaged in the hand to hand combat day to day battle of dealing with monetary ( even though personally that doesn't amount to very much, in current logistical ways, it hinders a great deal ) and situational adversity, and perhaps I've been a little distracted the past year or two with some other concepts of mine, many of the internet kind (some of great potential as well..., many to do with setting up for further future projects - but some of these indeed pursued to alleviate the very conditions of dirth that have impeded going forward with my promising superhero Sunman projects).

And indeed, my desire to go IN-house, set up IN-house, my production for superhero Sunman, at least in part (and partner up with a co-production situation ) , may have or is hindering things - but these intents are based on protecting the integrity of my concepts and my vision for my superhero figure Sunman. As I've seen how such ( become impersonalized ) franchises can go big time yuck in bigtime way - I needn't mention some of the Batman feature films... .

Yeah, and the official website's still bit of a mess, but without pro outside help on these, that's what happens.

Any concerns about my screenplay, about Sunman, about the adaptation of my debut screenplay Sunman - Born of Fire and Sky, really are moot, since I'd be working hard with the team to modify these, wherever enhancements might be needed, and the design, stylistic, music, all, considerations, to the utmost extent to make these the best possible, as movies indeed are a team event, but they need a captain (me in this case) to ensure they keep on intrinsic pure track - I throw that word pure in, as I saw yesterday this runner gal in a TEE with the same word, only, emblazzoned on it, and thought, the hey.. , that's what it's all about, staying pure to what you know in your heart is right. And the figure and world of Sunman is meant by me to adapt, evolve ever further, over the time-frame of an ever ongoing storyline that reaches beyond the Debut original first origins feature film, and it's Prequels.

I mean, come on, the concept of the, our.., Sun's cultural, social, mythological, environmental, ties to mankind goes way back to man's earliest civilizations ! The SUN is big, enormous, not only in the actual sense that it is. I mean the SUN's even gonna fry the entire Earth in a billion years time ..... , not to mention it enabled life to first begin, then thrive on this planet Earth of ours. It's a mega mega mega mega mega super-icon - I can't stress that enough. I can just see right now the marketing execs licking at their chops to get ahold of it to throw around re countless product associations.

So I would say, start beating your way to my door to get involved in my Sunman superhero franchise, because someone will get all this... . And to those who are interested in helping create fantastic fun movie projects, you might lose out meantime as I will be reaching out, ever harder than ever, a Sun big kind of hard effort, to find those that do !

So you who can lay down the big bucks, or the relatively minor big bucks, for something like a few ounces of tin with a number inked on it, or whatever metal license plates are made of ( are there plastic ones nowadays... ), I would say, how about considering laying down some support for my superhero Sunman feature motion picture and other world of Sunman related projects. You won't regret it - I'll make sure of that.

Hey, even the sunniest of minds gets disgruntled sometimes.

Just saying, take a look at joining the team.. . Maybe, even considering something of an alternate kind of support, like working with me to create a hot hit Sunman related song. Believe me, I'm as flexible as a Captian Fantastic to accommendate and work with folk.

Welcome to silly season.Despite regular hand-wringing over rising costs in Hollywood, there's an area where almost everybody agrees that the escalation has been simply foolish, and yet few choose to buck ... ( ETC... )

The following are My Comments about how all this might apply to the debut superhero Sunman (tm) movie project:

The big box office openning weekend bow, everywhere and yet still growing... . Soon to have release engagement dates on screens on the moon perhaps? Not sure how big a mega- release I'll get for my Sunman (tm) debut motion picture, but it could be quite high up there in those rafters... . Biggest factor wouldn't be the prints cost, but just how much on the promotion and advertising end of things it'll have to work with, and the impression it'll make with the public as a must see event movie, which is what I'm striving for. That and even more importantly that it be truely a great worthwhile captivating movie experience with some depth and repeat viewablity to it all.

It could be lonely here in the cosmos for us, (or not). If so, we'd need to spread life about ourselves, or whatever form ( or forms if include all Earth and post Earth life beings still remainding ) that we humans evolve to, as far afield of the Earth, eventually as may be, even after the Sun has made Earth a burning cinder.

Hopefully a shred of humanity, a thread of human-ness, some kind akin our human species, wouldn't be totally supplanted by say something like an "artificial" or computer or machine based life "form" as what could ascend us and make the core essence of humanity extinct.

Course we could try to "build" the likeness of ourselves into the machine..., or whatver hybrid beings are to follow us, mainly with respect to our minds, how they work tru neuronic type assemblages that organically evolve to provide the nature and essense of human beingness in us. All the other bodily stuff are just sense input mechanisms ( like eyes and sight, touch.. ) , movement mechanisms (legs) , object manipulation mechansims ( thumb and fingers ), which are plugged or connected in a nervous system that keeps track of these for us and which sends their inputs into our minds, or in reverse sends back out signals from our minds, in order to direct these mechanisms to do our considered biding.

Oh, about the financial matters recent post. About the story, writer's, originator's, intellectual property owner's, fee I would receive for the debut superhero Sunman feature motion picture, I could make do with considerable less than what I indicated in order to get the movie made. Major financial backers for my SUNMAN (TM) projects it is, I need ! For which the reward is just and ample to be !! Read on... .

That is essentially at the core of why there hasn't been made as yet my superhero Sunman feature motion picture and other related projects.

Having only secured the registered trademark rights to SUNMAN in the U.S.A. ( have had the registered TM in Canada though for some ages, years already) as of some 17 to 18 months ago, which I wanted in hand before trying to proceed ahead with any movie projects, so I could protect both my ownership rights and the integrity of my creative vision and ideals for Sunman, the other primary obstacle related to getting these projects made is of the financial kind, if one considers that monetary recourse can also help resolve familial matters ( allowing one to properly create a suitable family environment that allows one the freedom to devote his own full time, and space, to work on the movie projects during the time needed to prepare and shoot them - in other words, for me, meaning : Taking care of the Mom..., meantime. ).

I've recently calculated that basic foundation personal monetary need to be around the one million mark, part of which would be devoted strictly to further pre-production development of the projects. That would fall into the story and writer's fee range for a feature motion picture - for instance one M Night Shyamalan commands story/writer fees in the 5 to 10 million plus dollar range.

One third of that would go directly towards ensuring the proper family situation, of which I'd have no portion of. Some would go to temp lodging and living in L.A. for up to two years, which is a fair tad costly. Some for a home base in my home country. Basically the rest for work and cost matters related to the projects, as well as some income for this.

What's more on my side of the ledger is that I bring not only the fresh new original superhero and story world, but a trademarked franchise ( albeit it's a TM that I intend to retain ) enterprise. A very strong ICONic superhero figure. Not to mention I have a c-load of numerous other concepts and projects not related to Sunman.

Ok. That's one financial consideration for investors. Another would be what would the debut movies cost? If it's not going to be a bloated Major Studio treatment affair, in the rafters range of 50 plus, 100, 200.. million, then distributors like budgets in the 10 to 35 million dollar range. That can likely be done, and get as super a movie as otherwise out of it. Hence a great Box-Office, as is intended, would be all the more profitable.

And I'm not going to mention all the subsequent prequels and sequels.. . The Soundtracks, theme songs, toys, video games, licensed products, DVDs, Blu Rays, Internet shows
, comic book series, TV series... okay, I did mention them in passing.. .

Actually, this is what I want, metaporically speaking.

What I mean, the interplay of a top notch editor interacting with me, as well as a co-producer ( who's at least in same ballpark on the same wavelength of thinking as me.. ), to force me to apply heat on myself in fine-honing, and revising, my debut screenplay ( -superhero- Sunman : Born of Fire and Sky ), making me keep coming back up with the enhanced wow "goods". All of us devoted to making an absolute classic tour de force spectacular with human depth of impact and contact with the audience, a captivation of envelopment. As well to lend support, weight, on perhaps my more difficult task, the first PreQuel.., which according to my outline, is a really involved holly crap! deal, with lots of research needed - it's intended to whack an emotional whollup, in incredible settings, but getting all the details into place, on the page, that's the rub...

Just a wee note on a writting issue of mine on the portibility and flexible use-ability of the writting input instrument. I find at desktops, esp. one hooked always into the net, I tend to sit far too steady long for good's sake, and get bogged down in time consuming tasks unrelated to writting and rewritting scripts. Now laptops are bulky and awkward enough monstrosities, that they kind of behave just like dieted, some, desktops and indeed are near as much limited as to portible flexible use. Plus they're costly, relatively fragile, a drag to drag around, a target for lifting, and can't be used in a multitude of off the cuff environments. And cell-tops, prepare for finger and eye strain, headaches, brain cancer -cause you'll use them as phones too won't you- , and carpo tunnel vision... .

Why I have ideas for more suitable "form platforms" for us creatives that I'd love to have already in my "hands" to use. Don't worry, doesn't neccessarily exclude all the aforementioned input forms in current use, they still have their roles in their own proper, though as mentioned ,limited, places in these design schemes of mine.

P.S: some similar things can be said about fixed unit TVs. And here there's additional issues like reuseable info retention and interaction being percarious at best though have to see what the digital TV age has yet to bring.

Todays Topic. A Preferred Actor Attachment.

There's a particular actor I'd like to play superhero Sunman's father (and thus the dad of Sky, and Sky's twin brother Jason also). Has right age, look, demeanor, and a pretty broad public appeal too. I've maybe a field of five actors or so I've so far envisioned for this role, but this actor in question seems the best choice. Not only would he fit the role well, his attachment to these projects ( both debut origin story Sunman feature live action movie as well as Prequels/Sequels ) would help in garnering financial backing support for these projects as well.

As I intend for these projects to be classic works of art and to have envelopingly popular and stylistically captivating appeal, and as the particular role in question is to be one of depth and complexity that an actor can really get into, these could be points to sway the actor's nod.

I'm not quite sure how to broach or initiate the matter until I've got more key players involved in my production team.
